About Us
The research of CAMH Lab focuses on psychosocial mechanisms that promote mental health in toddlers, children, and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders, neurological disorders, and other physical problems. Of particular importance to our research is an understanding of the developmental trajectories of emotional regulation in these toddlers, children, and adolescents, and how individual factors (i.e., the use of mental state language and social-cognitive abilities) and family and other social contexts influence their development of emotional regulation. In addition, to further develop mental health intervention (e.g., toddlers and children’s mentalization programs or parent education programs) for these toddlers and children to promote the development of emotional regulation

自閉症類群障礙症兒童在音樂情感曲風情境的心情臉孔辨識力
過去研究發現,自閉症類群障礙症(autism spectrum disorder,簡稱ASD)兒童處理音樂曲調的情感線索與同齡兒童相當(Heaton, 2009;Heathon, Hermelin & Pring, 1999),而ASD成人在聆聽情感曲風音樂時的生理反應亦和一般成人沒有差異(Caria, Venuti & de Falco, 2011)。那麼,ASD兒童聆聽情感曲風音樂時,能否提升他們的心情臉孔辨識呢?
